Well, was hoping to hear the bloodwork results today, but no joy :( Hopefully I'll hear tomorrow! They're only there until noon though. Sure hope I don't have to wait until next week!

Was happy to see China make it down to the lagoon today...even if she just dipped her paws in!

Tonight she wasn't interested in eating at PMPS again. Last night I figured it was just due to all the excitement, but she's had a quiet day today so I'm not sure what's going on. She ate a little bit (maybe half a teaspoon) and then threw up, so I'm watching her pretty close. It wasn't a scarf and barf though because she hadn't eaten much, hadn't eaten it fast and what she threw up was more watery and mucus.

Have some ondansetron I can give if I need to but hoping whatever is wrong will settle on it's own because the pills I have are supposed to be sublingually and I don't know how I'd do that!

I'm sorry China threw up. I hope her tummy settles down. Hopefully you'll hear from the vet tomorrow on her b/w.
 
Well something's wrong....she's at 215 @ 2.5 and that's with very little food

Went ahead and gave her 1/4 of the ondansetron because she vomited a little more "foam"....hoping it settles her tummy so she'll eat something

This is NO way to diet, China!!
 
Oh Sending vines to China for a happier tummy and hoping she feels better soon. Also hoping you hear back from the vet tomorrow too- waiting is no fun!
 
If it's foam she's vomiting, could be acid tummy and Pepcid should help. I'll be interested to hear how the sublingual Ondansetron worked out - I got that when I ordered a refill on a script DH had for it, and didn't think I could give it to the kitties. Next time I ordered a refill I specifically requested the regular tablet and got it. Of course, I also get it from UCD - we go through a lot of it around here!

In any case, sending healing vines for poor China. I hope it's just a minor glitch and she's back to work at the lagoon soon.

Speaking of losing weight through tummy upset, my DSIL had a really bad summer, vomiting, etc. all the time (she has a lot of health issues), and by the time they got her over it, she'd lost 71 pounds! Mind you, she really needed to lose them, plus 20 more, but that isn't the way she was supposed to do it! So China, let's choose a different way to diet, 'k?
 
Well, she finally ate about a teaspoon and a half of Fancy Feast, so I guess the ondansetron helped some, but her BG is still out of whack...especially for China

I'm worrying about pancreatitis now...with the nausea, vomiting, no appetite and I went to check on her and she had all 4 feet tucked in under her and even had her head tucked in too!! She was nothing but a big white blob!

Still hoping she's just got a little bug of some kind and by morning she'll be all better! Don't know what I'd do if she wasn't!!
