Seems to be feeling better too. Appt for Convenia shot this afternoon. Vet wants to do urinalysis but I don't want to stress him out. It may be a battle but I hope not. I don't think it will show anything but it has been 6 months since his last one. I sure wish they would just do one when they do the bloodwork (get it all done at one time). BW didn't show high WBC on 10/05 but if this is a kidney infection, as suspected, it may or may not be detectable.

Back from the vet in plenty of time. Just got the shot (no urinalysis). When I got to the vets there was a guy there that had a box of puppies! OMG they were so cute. Even whimpering and barking (if you could call it that). I snapped a pic so I could share with y'all!

I don't know they were going to the back just after I got there so only got the picture and a smile . I don't think their eyes were open though and no mama with them.

For a urinalysis you can't get urine at home? You can use a dollar store ladle lol. Every time I get a sample from Shmee we call it "Shmee pee" "Watch out Shmee pee comin through!" lol

Glad they didn't do the urinalysis, as I would think with the AB it would not show anything right now and that would be $$ thrown away.

For a urinalysis you can't get urine at home? You can use a dollar store ladle lol. Every time I get a sample from Shmee we call it "Shmee pee" "Watch out Shmee pee comin through!" lol

I do the same & it's a better sample to avoid the false positive for blood in the urine when the vet draws it. Vet gives me a vial to get sample at home with the ladle.

The boy is shy. I can't even look at him in the LB or he will stop . Always been this way.

That is quite lucky. Bubba is always very private in the box. If I walk down into the basement and he's in the box, he looks over his shoulder at me and I swear I hear him, "HELLO! Can you see that I need some privacy right now???"
