Good morning everyone!
Lou's been up and down and all around the last few days. I was on the cusp of giving him an increase, and he shocked me by having a great cycle last night. I just don't understand why he's been so all over the place lately. It's not like him at all. He threw up yesterday just after giving him his shot. It had a small hairball, which could account for the higher numbers, but it was so small, it seems strange that it would cause so many problems. Never a dull moment with this kid apparently.
I'm curious to know if he'll hold steady or if he'll start to inch up again.
We are down to less than 20 days left of giving Bella the Denamarin before we recheck her. Lately, she's been a bit better on the puking and avoiding food front, but still not back to her normal "let's eat everything in sight" self. She vomited a few days ago and it was probably the biggest hairball I've ever seen. I've seen people talk about using olive oil in their cat's food to help with hairballs, but I just see them talk about a "small" amount. How much exactly should I be giving and how frequently? I definitely need some way to nip this in the bud.
It's getting cold here and we finally had to turn the heat on last night. I'm not at all ready for winter.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and your kitties surf safely!
