Hello all!
Billie continues to be doing great!!! Thank you all so much for celebrating her wonderful cardiology checkup with us last week! I'm considering every day a celebration
I found some adorable catnip filled toys shaped like wine bottles at a little country store, so we all celebrated with some wine last night!
Billie honestly seems to be aging in reverse, maybe from the heart meds making her feel better and/or from the b12 shots she has been getting. She has been trotting around the house and taking flying leaps up onto the bookshelf and cat tree. As of a couple weeks before her stroke, she was having trouble making it onto the bookshelf and didn't seem interested in the cat tree. I had thought it was arthritis in her back legs bothering her, but maybe it was heart related. Her appy has also been good, and her BG is finally in a good place after some dosecreases. I think she'll always be bouncy, but we're finally seeing blues and greens. She's happy, so I'm really happy!!
