He didn't in the AM cycle and with no intervention on my part. Reasonably low PM number so we'll see what this cycle gives us.

 

He got very close but I guess he wasn't in the mood to get wet today. Maybe this evening he'll decide to go in for a dip.

 

Well...since there were no tests after the 5+ you can't be sure he didn't...he was sure coming down nicely...

He may very well go there tonight - that 171 is promising!

Oh I know. He normally nadirs around +5 so I decided to give his ears a pokey break.

 

263 @+2 to 121 @+4 is a dive. He could have dropped 70-100 from +2 to +3 and then the remainder +3 to +4. And that’s a pretty big drop tonight between +2 and +3.

Feeding 5%?

 

You are of course right.... He's currently getting a HC snack. He dropped again now at 56. I'll test again in 20 mins, guess I'll be up for a while.

When we were new...and for quite a time....if we saw Gracie drop 100 mg/dL over two hours, we thought, “that’s not bad” but then she’d get a horrific bounce. Once we started testing to see what was going on, we found she had dropped, for example, 80 in one hour!

I just try to get it out there for anyone that is reading that we see the total drop and want to divide it evenly by hours; but it doesn’t usually work that way. I know you “get it” but it’s a good opportunity for me to mention it for others.

 

I certainly need reminding...I told you I'm a slow learner. Some days I get it better than others, I just wonder when on earth I'll "get it" better than I do.
He's coming up on nadir so hopefully it won't be too too late, we'll see what Mr. Jerry has up his sleeve for me.
