Thank you all for stopping by yesterday with shared experiences, suggestions, encouragement, vines. I so appreciate your support and wisdom.
Polly ate breffis! Oh, not the usual flavors. She held out for something exotic from Weruva (thank goodness for a mom and pop pet shop here in this small town). But she cleaned her plate even lapping up the extra slosh I'd added with warm water.
Still a little bummed. Tail's low; she's walking kind of hang dog. But she's better. She just jumped up on the bathroom vanity to check out her food plate that's up there. Sniffed. Took a couple bites.
We've done fluids and bupe so far. Odansetron, a little bit later. And I'll keep the meds going for a while beyond her feel good date.
I'm still a bit befuddled by the low numbers with the near miniscule amount of insulin she's getting. That will probably blow up in our faces when she finally shakes the icky feeling. I thought that yellow this morning might be a precursor. Nope, not yet. I'm so tired I'd rather having her run in higher numbers today so those blues are just fine! I'll probably keep the itty-bitty dose through tonight and hope I get some sleep.
Sorry for not getting around to visit yesterday. Working at catching up today.
Vines and wishes.
