Apparently Boomer called me around 3:00 am; I did not hear a thing, I don't know whether DH got up with him or not (it would be highly unusual if he did
) I was exhausted after several nights of not sleeping well.
We had a "special weather statement" preparing us for lots of rain and wind overnight. I have no idea how much it actually rained but there is more expected this morning. I'm supposed to photograph a family mid morning but we've already discussed doing it Monday instead and Monday is supposed to be nice. So chances are I will spend today tiling the laundry room (I was ready to start yesterday but DH wasn't).
Today's photo is from a few days ago when we discovered this Pileated Woodpecker inside this hollowed-out tree! I call this "Peek-A-Boo".
