Good morning all,
I realized yesterday morning that the extended yellows were not an extended bounce, rather a failed reduction. Seeing the relatively flat, yellow AM cycle yesterday confirmed my suspicions. Lou's never had a failed reduction before, which is a good thing. I wondered if that 39 on 10/23 could have been caused by a bad strip, although Caleb confirmed that he had enough blood. Who knows. Regardless, the lack of any blues or greens in the last 3 days (excepting the one blue after the reduction when he was going up to yellows) tells me he needs more insulin, so I've increased him back up to 2.5u as of last night. I hope the +3 today indicates he might finally have a cycle in decent numbers. The constant yellows and pinks are exhausting.
I hope you all have a fantastic Caturday!
