Yesterday
Jonesy is jonesying. No soft poop for three days now anti-jinx. Vet and I discussed dropping the metronidazole down from 125mg per day to 100mg per day when he can string a week of those together. Which would be nice. He is also getting bupe every 12 hours. He looks to be doing ok outside of 27th was a sore day. Vet seems ok with keeping him on it for now.
In other news, we got the results back for civvie Libby on the fast T4 - 43 on a range of 10-51. Her thyroid levels has slowly been increasing steadily for the last 3 years. Vet has done some research and decided that we wait and watch. There is no evidence that starting medications at this stage has helped. So she is now on every 6 months BW schedule to monitor.
She is still cleared for her dental which is booked on Nov 23rd along with CKD civvie Rain (again need a lottery win here). I delayed it even with the FORL as my option was this Friday (which I have booked appointments with my doctors trying to take care of my health issues and the thought of doing both was a little overwhelming) then the vet is booked/off until the 21st. So I took the first appointment when she gets back, get this, from a conference on pet dental health and procedures.
Today is DH's birthday. We will be celebrating on Sunday - taking him for a lunch and a movie. He has a job interview today...maybe this is the one job he can do in his new capacity. I am praying that it is.
Vines for all those in need today.
