Yesterday

Fresh air seems to agree with him. After the campfire party at the lagoon wrapped up, he purred through the night and ate a good breakfast. He adapts so remarkably well to new situations and probably likes being the only cat for a bit.

 

He decided to "help" Trixie with her breakfast.

 

Love it! When I read your title and saw his number I thought - well, the fresh air def agrees with him

 

He loves the new surroundings. Aren't you afraid he will run off? Love the cabin.

 

Nice number to start the day Grandpa! No wandering off looking for trouble, just enjoy your beautiful cabin.

He doesn't do anything very fast. We don't leave him outside alone. He'll explore a little, but mostly look for a lap. He's purring on mine now.

Luckily it was Beyond pate, but there aren't any carbs or calories in stolen food. At least that's what I tell myself when I sneak a bite or three of someone else's dessert.

 

I thought with his number that he was 'at the beach' ha! In the woods indeed...looks like a great spot there!!

 

Tonight's accommodations are more primitive, but he has comfy beds with a fan.

I have a much smaller one that's perfect for just Trixie and me, but when my roommate comes along, we each like our own space. This one fits a couple queen size air beds plus critter space. The new instant-up design makes life much easier.

We're in Western Maryland at Rocky Gap State Park. It is about 80 today. We didn't have much shade when we set up the tent, but it's better now.
