My mom's neighbor had the same problem passing her smog but she did have work done prior to testing. It took her 3 tests. I got up 125 miles today, 110 of it so far in last 3 days. The freeway was wide open this morning but the sun so bright and not wanting to waste more gas I cut it short. Now I have a check oil warning. It's been about a year since my last oil change so that's not too bad. That was another reason I came home. Wish me luck tomorrow. My car is a 2003 by the way.

My mom was awful when I got there yesterday. We had a substitute CG because our weekender went to Disneyland. DM was angry but did settle down and got her hair done. Her hairdresser said she thought she was having a really good day. When I left she seemed to ge fine with the CG who seems to be very nice and caring.

Let's see what today brings. Knowing Max he will hopefully settle down in time to mess with me next weekend when I have a haircut Saturday and the baby shower Sunday.
 
I hope Max takes a dip in the lagoon for you today. I hope your car passes the smog test. It sounds like your mom was doing better by the time you left. Sending prayers.

Sure hope after all you've been through that your car passes their silly test! Seems like a car that old should have been grandfathered in and not require it

Hope your mom is doing better today too....and really happy to hear the fill-in CG was a good one....especially with some of the luck you've had with CG's!
