Good Morning,

Thank you for all your support and comments yesterday over my dilema with bugs that I found in the pouches of food. Special thanks to Jan @Tina Marie and Jan ....I apologize for all the posts that I wrote on your condo yesterday about the little critters in the food, very sorry:bighug:

Today is starting out as a good one. Yoyo for the first time in months, actually ate a new food that I tried called "Soulistic Chicken and Turkey Pate". Ok....I held his bowl for him, but he actually ate the portion of food that was in his bowl without me assisting. I only hope that he will eat it again by himself!!

Weather was actually 71 degrees yesterday, cold front:p ...it was a nice change even though it was raining most of the day.

Hoping for a pleasant Sunday for all and that all Kitties stay safe while surfing:cat::cat::cat::cat::cat:
 
That's a nice start for Yoyo today! Glad to hear he's eating a little of the new food...and that you've put the saga of the critters in the pouches behind you...ugh...what a visual that was!

It is a rather pleasant morning here in Florida today, isn't it! I was so surprised when I opened the doorwall for Luci and felt all that cool air! What a change from all the heat and humidity, huh?

Morning Sue.....Yesterday was cooler over here, around 70 and it rained but I didn't care because it just felt good!!
Glad Luci feels at home in either location. She is adorable and is a ham for those pictures....too cute!
Hope you get to go out today and explore around while Luci surfs safely...enjoy!!

Debra - that's great news about Yoyo eating on his own practically! I sure hope it keeps working - all our paws crossed.

And my goodness, I don't mind in the least about bug talk in Tina's condo - I think I brought it up anyway. Tina did ask that I sweep her condo out real well though. We don't like maggots!!!!
We just want your boy to eat his fuds:cat: I hope Yoyo keeps these awesome numbers today too:)
 
What a fantastic start for Yoyo! And even better that he's eating, sorta by himself! I hope he loves his new food and keeps it up!

Oh yea, me and my bugs:) .... A lot of the posts are on Jan's condo.

I really hope you can find the food. To me it brightened my day. It may be a little higher in carbs for Yo, it has 5.2% carbs but that is still a low carb and at this point I am just glad he LIKES it. And the phosphorous is 134 mg. Their web site breaks all the nutrients down and actually has the % of calories coming from Protein, Fat and Carbohydrate. The math is all done for us :joyful::joyful:

Thank you....but not so lucky tonight. I had to hand feed him again :(... but he did eat about 1-2 Tablespoons of filet mignon all by himself, so I am happy he ate that. He is very finicky, sometimes he walks away from steak but he actually ate it tonight so that's a good sign. And he may have been full or spoiled and didn't want the canned stuff after the good stuff:)

I am really the lucky one to have him in my life. He is the most loveable kitty. Even though he only has 1 front paw, when I pick him up he actually takes that paw and puts it around my neck, he hugs me right back :)

I hope you can get the fleas under control. Isn't it kind of late in the season for fleas at this time? Hasn't the colder weather scared them away?

Omg! I am picturing your sweet boy hugging you with his one front paw. God bless him that he landed in your home for love and care!

Thanks for the well wishes with the fleas. We have an in-law suite attached to our home that we rent out. The last tenants left Labor Day weekend. I went in to inspect a few days later. By the end of Sept my animals had fleas!! No fleas all summer long!

Then a few weeks later my husband took a carpet layer over to measure the space. It was still warm outside and he had shorts on. Before he was done measuring he had hundreds of fleas all over his ankles! We have bombed over there twice and might need to one more time as my animals are still bothered by them despite Revolution 2 months in a row. Ugh!

Fingers and paws crossed.

ETA. My husband is over there working and bringing them home.
