Ollie watching sunrise on the beach this morning. Today will be confinement day in spare bedroom.

Cabinets go in today !!!!!!! Tonight is township meeting, I don't know if I want to go or stay home and fill my cabinets. It's such a major decision.

Have start getting the chair socks done before floor goes in.

Cabinets arriving is exciting stuff. I vote for staying home and filling your cabinets!

Chair socks? Is that to prevent scuffs on the wood floors ? Did you make them?

 

Chair socks yes to slide easy on wood floors, prevent scratches. Knitting them myself. I also have the felt stickies that go on the legs, so using both.

 

Paula, when finished I want to see these chair socks ...hand knit to boot ... u are amazing !!!

 

Cabinets are beautiful, just have to get use to them. So different than any I've ever had. Growing up, all my years living home, in my apartment, then 1st house have always been the exact same ones. That's 62 years of the same style and color of cabinets. It's time to shake things up.

The drawers that will become Olive's med/supply drawers are bigger and deeper than I thought they would be. I can get it all in one with room to spare. I think I'll spread it out into 2 drawers. Use the 3rd for the kitchen towels.

 

I gotta get going on them.

 

Post a photo of your chair socks please. I have stick on pads with felt.

Kitty chair socks? I've seen them around, and still don't have my own yet.

Cabinets not quite done yet. They are coming back tomorrow or Wednesday. Weather permitting. Same with contractor. He's bringing the sink and faucet weather permitting.
