After all my worrying, juggling and planning, I've had to cancel my appointment with the pain doctor myself due to a GI bug that makes it impossible to be confined to a car for hours (if you get my drift)
Was concerned about China's number at AMPS causing problems, but after getting a little BTB time, I was awakened by that familiar churning in your stomach that only means one thing...a fast trip to the bathroom!
Called the doctor's office and although they understand (found out the doctor cancelled my last appointment on Wednesday due to the same bug which they said is really making the rounds lately), the only time they can get me in again (before the pump goes dry or the medicine they ordered for it for last Wednesday goes bad) is Monday afternoon or really late on Tuesday(4pm....which means not being home in time for PMPS)
Of course Monday I already have to take DM in for bloodwork in the morning and we're supposed to see the Senior Services lady about changing her Medicare supplement plan at 2pm so neither one of those choices really works either. ARGGGGGG!!!
So now I'm trying to reschedule the appointment Monday afternoon for DM ....and I feel just AWFUL because today's her 86th birthday and instead of getting to go to Red Lobster for lunch she's stuck going to the Nutrition site again ....and to keep her from being exposed to this bug, I feel it's best I don't get anywhere near her today
At least China is being a very good girl...but now I have to hope she'll be a good girl tomorrow (and hope I'm better so I can get DM to her hair appointment and take her and the ladies out for lunch) and then be a good girl next week so I can once again try to get to Columbia
