    Yesterday's condo (with mom's birthday cake picture)

    It's been kind of a strange day for Miss China, but she's still on duty at the lagoon so that's all that matters!! Going to try to add a +9 snack more often and see if it does the same as it did today.

    Happy 88th birthday to my DM!! It was a nice party and everyone enjoyed the steak...and the cake was wonderful!! I'm not a big fan of sweets in the first place, but I really liked the cake. It wasn't so sickly sweet like a lot of them can be. Seems like either you get a "pretty" cake or a "good" cake....finding a cake that's both well decorated and delicious can be almost impossible!

    Mom loved the cake decorations too and was really pleased. The other residents got a chuckle out of it too because they've seen how addicted she is to those puzzles.

    Hope you're all having a good Monday and your kitties are feeling great!!

    Good work today, LagoonMeisterin China! I could only get to the lagoon for a little while, but you did great. If I get back later tonight, let's have a party to celebrate your Grandmamabean's birthday. Is there any cake left?

    I will always hope, but China's been diabetic about 5 years and on insulin over 4 1/2 years. I seriously doubt it.....but it's possible
