Yesterday's condo

After I got up at 3 am to feed the boys a snack, Mandarin woke me up an hour later when he hacked up a huge hairball. He seems to be feeling a lot better now that that's out. He's never had hairball issues before and I don't even think anyone is shedding a whole lot at the moment.

I also started him on probiotics to see if that will help with the diarrhea. Luckily, his appetite is back to normal. And so is his Glucose level. Meanwhile, Walter might be looking at a dosecrease tomorrow if he doesn't make it to the lagoon today.

And I have a full day of meetings at work. I am just glad that I have a long enough lunch break to run home, check on the cats and the lets the pups out. Hope everyone has a good Friday!

Happy to hear that Mandarin is feeling better! Yuck on the hairball hack at 4:00 am though :eek:
Walter....did you notice that dosecrease threat? Better work the juice today.....safely of course!
 
Look at that: apparently, all Walter needed was a dosecrease threat. :D

Mandarin ate pretty well this morning and at +4. He didn't want much of his +8 snack and vomited half an hour later. Is it possible that he is feeling crummy because his BG is higher than what he is used to? It probably makes more sense the other way around, but the two things definitely happen around the same time. Since he ate at least some of his dinner, I did give him his usual 0.25 U.

...and then Lenny, my Chow mix, was a little overly excited about his walk and vomited on me as I was putting his harness on. :eek: That was definitely a first for me...
