Poor Maggie, it took multiple pokes to get blood this morning.:(
I'm trying slightly higher carb food, per Marje's suggestion, to try to avoid the PM drops, level out the BG overall, and bring the AMPS into the green.
For anyone looking for low carb food that's also low phosphorous, I've created two tabs in my spreadsheet. The nutritional info comes from Tanya's CKD site. Both tabs are phos under 1%, one is food under 6% carbs, and the other is 5-11% carbs.
    Happy Friday!! :bighug:

I hate multiple poke times. Poor Maggie. She is looking great. I've been thinking she's close to OTJ for a while now, but wasn't sure how the pred figured in. I'm glad Marje is helping you.

Well, I think she did pretty good. If you had been testing your normal schedule you might not have seen the blues . Then she went to neon again on the drop.

Whacha gonna do? Silly girl Maggie Moo.:cat:

Not sure if you have it or not, but here is the database for Dr. Lisa's food/carb list. I try and compare between the two lists and as long as they are close I will try.

    http://catinfo.org/chart/index.php

    And the downloadable PDF here.

    An example:
I and Love and You Wholly Cow Pate

    Tanya's list
    Phos 1.30
    Prot 48
    Sod 0.57
    Fat 37
    Carb 14.7
    Cals 32.08 (3oz)

    Dr. Lisa's list:
    Phos 140 (calculated differently)
    Prot 34
    Sod n/a
    Fat 63
    Carb 3
    Cals 95 (3oz)

Wow, there are some big differences! I've looked at both lists in the past, but never compared them to each other.

Yeah, sometimes when testing I'll think, Maybe I shouldn't test because it might be a blue, and I don't want that blue messing up Maggie's spreadsheet, but then I accept that it is what it is, and all data is important. But I still don't like seeing it!

PMPS is 77. Makes me a little nervous, but I plan on shooting a drop. Anyone disagree? @Marje and Gracie
    ETA: I shot a drop.
