Wow....what a flat cat!! China's been 82 or 83 at AMPS for three days in a row!!

Well...Connie hasn't called me all day (yet anyway).....I guess wherever she had to go this morning kept her longer than she thought because she'd told me last night she'd be down to "Feed mom" at 9 and she didn't show up. Mom was actually looking forward to going down to the nutrition site for lunch today so she could see her friends down there instead of 24 hours of Connie.....LOL
She's also so happy to have Miss Kitty back!! She had convinced herself that she'd gotten out of the apartment building somehow (pretty much impossible unless a human opened both heavy doors to the outside and let her out). MK has spent most of the day curled up on mom's lap, giving her special form of "Purr therapy"
Connie keeps telling me "that cat is going to trip your mom and cause her to fall with the way she walks around her feet".....like if I was a good daughter, I'd get rid of "that cat".....Don't know how to get it through to her that Miss Kitty is mom's dearest companion....she's the only thing left of mom's life with dad, life before disability, life before old age. There's no way I'd ever consider taking her away!! That would be the final blow to DM. It's surprising she doesn't understand considering she has a small dog that she talks about constantly.
