AMPS = 292

Paws crossed we see a nice cycle today and for the rest of his life - just kidding! I would more likely win the lottery right now than to see that happen. Maybe in the future but not right now lol. BUT if Ming wants to prove me wrong, then I'm going straight to the lotto.

Ming will be going later on today to get his blood tested for acro. I will not be surprised if his blood is fatty again. It's been bright pink again.

Also it turns out, his pred was not given last night. Bleh. Oh well.

Bouncy day. Also possible furshot tonight just because I've gotten in the habit of sniffing him after I inject. And I smelled Lantus so.. sigh...
 
At leaast you get sleep tonight.

Does the vet have any explanation for the pink blood? Does he have a problem processing fat?
 
His blood didn’t look too pinky today surprisingly. Still not a deep red but it wasn’t pale pink and creamy. We haven’t discussed that but only proved (for now) that the pink blood doesn’t always mean active pancreatitis.

My theory is maybe when he’s high for too long, his blood gets pink? He’s been “low” for a few cycles so that might explain why his blood looked good.

Perhaps after the Acro test/coming back from my trip, I might attempt to figure out why his blood is like that. Maybe more experimentation with food first and seeing if there’s a pattern with BG numbers and blood colour.

Huh, I guess something's working or the depot is doing it's job. But time to sleep. That was just a test done purely for curiosity
