Happy Caturday!
Today is a much better day at my house. Scooter and Toby both ate a good breakfast and seem to be feeling fine. Scooter was an hour and 15 minutes late on his shot last night. I was trying to get a little more SEB down him and make sure he ate at least a little, I completely forgot to give the shot I had drawn up. :facepalm: I gave it as soon as I realized and am working him back 15 min each shot time. We will be back on track by Monday morning when I have to go to work.
Prayers and vines to all Kitties and beans in need.
 
Sorry Scooter wasn't eating well. I hope he is on the road to recovery with a better appetite :cat::cat:

I know when Yoyo won't eat, it effects my attitude and my day. And when he eats, it makes me feel so much better and I am sure him too;)
 
Jill - I'm so happy Scooter is back to his great BGs, especially because of his recent reduction to .1 - it looks like he took the reduction great; just had tummy trouble :)

I have had everything lined up, syringe ready, while watching Tina eat, checking that no other cat, or the dog comes too close, possibly even log BG, and then 3-4 minutes later, DING - better give the shot! Usually I give as soon as she starts eating, and she never stops. I've been lucky so far and have always gotten her to eat. (So glad to have learned about SEB.)
At least Scooter got his shot!

I usually test, put his food down and shoot too, but last night I don't know what I was thinking. This is the first time I've used SEB, it seems to work great!
 
Ravan 's not eating this morning. I also gave him Slippery Elm! Something going around with the kitties???

Thanks Debra! He is eating great today. I think he’s trying to eat for yesterday too. It does worry me when he won’t eat. The last time he didn’t eat for 4 days.
 
I hope you and Scooter had a good day! I know how that is to forget...that's why I have to set a timer on my phone for daily rings at our appointed times; one for testing, one for shooting. I learned my lesson one day when I realized about a half hour later that I'd forgotten to give Luci her insulin - she was still in the pantry relaxing and enjoying her breakfast ... :rolleyes:
