He is very painful and I don't know what to do. If I give any pain meds he wont eat. I need to give fluids but it is like I am using a mid-evil torture devise on him when I do. He absolutely hates it. I feel so helpless.

Hope everyone has a great day.

This is a mild example. I have seen him take 20 seconds to lay down.

I am not sure but think it is pancreatitis. He does have arthritis too. IDK. He seems better with pain meds but he won't eat with them.

Have you tried adding CBD oil back in the mix again or increasing the Canna?

Have you tried liquid bupre you can squirt in side of mouth? Gabapentin wasn't enough for Olive but she was on gab before the p'titis dx. Bupre worked great for her and Smokey.

If in pain he might not want to eat, treat pain and appy might come back.

If it is arthritis, maybe you could try Adequan injections.

And Walter had a similar reaction to pain meds. They made him loopy and disoriented and didn't want to eat.

Have you ever tried a heated bed? I think it helps with pain in general and might make him more comfortable.

Hope you both feel better soon! :bighug:
