:coffee:Still nice weather, but think its suppose to start turning cold today and rain. My Civvie Sadie had a good poop last night and he's feeling better. The pumpkin helps just takes to long to work I think. He has slowed down quite a bit, his almost 20 years of age is starting to catch up to him.:( He mostly just eats and sleeps but he's earned it. Caesar is doing well, I started a part time job, so I've been leaving food out at night instead of a +9 snack. Last couple days I've been getting a late pmbg on him, usually after he's ate but as long as he is in the green I'm happy.:D:D Think that's why he's been in the 90's. Hope everyone has a good day. Sending healing vines to all the kitties. :bighug:to all the beans.

Always a good day when things go good for Caesar and Sadie. Good job! Lovely :D

Going to check with the Vet make sure its ok and what dosage. Some one else suggested it too. Thanks :)

I recommended it. I use it with Wiley who has constipation due to the phosphorous binder he is on. Here is a brief statement about Miralax from Tanya's CF site.

MiraLAX comes as an odourless and tasteless powder which can be mixed with water or food. A common starting dose is 1/8 of a teaspoon per day, though if you don't see an improvement in your cat's constipation after three days, you can increase to 1/4 of a teaspoon if necessary. If this still doesn't work, ask your vet about increasing the dose. MiraLAX is supposed to be mixed with water, and can be given via a dropper, though some people mix it with wet or baby food. You can also divide it between your cat's meals over the course of a day if you prefer, it is not essential to give the day's dose all in one go.

Doodles gets 1/4 tsp twice a day but starting out with 1/8 is best. Then you just have to watch. If the stools get to soft back off a bit or increase if needed. A lot of the kitties here get a maintenance dose but always best to check with your vet .
