Yesterday

Flyin' high, parachuting out! Rusty got a fur shot last night (Edward smelled Lev.) and it combined with a bounce. Now he's decided to "correct" the situation. He's been hard to keep stable lately, a combination of my inability to measure his tiny dose and his skinny senior body. On the bright side: his appetite has been good. RAWZ is a hit!

Gale-force winds here today; no rain yet, but it's on the way. I'm glad we got out in our canoe yesterday.

We watched the NYC Marathon on TV this morning. Brings back lots of great memories. Edward and I both did the NYC Marathon three times in the late-'80s, early '90s.

Wishing all a fine day and sending vines to all kitties and beans in need.

I just recommended Rawz to the rowing coach - his kitties loved the old Wellness....

Sorry about the winds. Row this morning cancelled due to outflow winds, glad we got out yesterday. DH's race in Seattle cancelled due to wind and it's snowing there. Sunny here. NYC Marathon must have occasionally been cold.

Now that's quite the cycle! Looks like someone had fun climbing up the latter to get to the highest diving board before jumping back into the lagoon.

I think that's part of my problem too - I am having the hardest time measuring those tiny doses and I really can't tell much of a difference between a 0.1 and 1 drop.
...well, minus the skinny body. Mandarin is a lot of things, but skinny isn't one of them.

We missed the broadcast of the marathon but saw the results. Congratulations to Shalane Flanagan, first American woman to win in 40 years!
