Yesterday's post

I wasn't going to test Ivana through the night last night, given that her +2 and +3 were still rising substantially compared to PMPS. But she woke me up at 1.30am running around the house like a lunatic and trying to claw open all the cupboard doors, and doing that funny meow that cats do when they get in a mood. Thought I'd better check to see if she's gone too low and it's made her go crazy. Nope, it was actually the opposite, and she was the highest she's been in days. She really was acting like a kid on a sugar-high, and I guess that's what was going on! Anyway, she settled, I went back to sleep, and all is well with the world.

Back to starting in pinks again this morning though, which is a little disheartening but at least the +2 is yellow. I'm out working all day today so hubby is in charge of monitoring and testing. The spreadsheet will be updated but this post won't be til tonight.
 
Good thing you shot that green last night when you did. It is kind of encouraging when kitty starts to feel better in lower numbers and yuckier in the higher ones.

Paws crossed for a nice slide down today.
 
Good point Wendy! I guess it really does show that her body is starting to realise that green numbers are good and normal, and pink numbers are yucky and bad.
 
I thought hubby would be able to get more tests today, but it turns out he had to go out hence the big gap. We will never know if there were any greens in there this afternoon... and Ivana isn't telling.
 
Wow... did Ivana even get insulin tonight? (I know she did, but geez with those numbers she may as well not have!) At least we can have a good night's sleep tonight, and maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
