How's he doing all in all? Still need the laser light to get him out of his cubby? Or is he warming up nicely now?
 
I can't even explain his behavior/ personality. It's like he wants to play and be petted but then turns on me or the cats. I think there is a mouth/teeth issue too. He eats/drinks like he "slops" it up. And at first he looks at the food like "how am I going to do this? " and makes a weird breathing noise.

He is out most of the time and is very easy to test just gets growly. Now I know it's more "bark" than bite but I still don't trust he won't bite 100%.

Still have to use the laser if he's in the cubby but that's not as often.
 
Oh, Miss Meows can be very growly when she doesn't feel like being tested. I'm sure if others heard it, they'd think either I was killing her, or she was killing me! Once treats are had though... All is well. :rolleyes:

I hope he just needs a little more time settling in before you see his truely tender side. Fingers and kitty toes crossed!
 
Cat nip is my new best friend. He goes wild for it. Yesterday was the second time he came up and meowed to me (i think he was hungry and telling me to feed him, but what ever I'll take it.). Not as much growling for testing now and really he just sits there. Just have to get him out of the cubby, lol
