Yesterday's action-packed cycle with a light green surf

You will all be pleased to know that Ivana is still alive. I know she wasn't actually in any danger of death by hypo, but there was certainly the danger of death by driving me crazy with her very low surf yesterday and refusal to come up into the normal numbers. Thankfully it all worked out fine, and I don't even feel very tired today. Yet.

So the PM cycle yesterday started out with a lovely dark green surf, and then went into la bounce mode from there. To be expected of course. I'm pleased that I will be able to give her ears a rest though, the poor lil chooken had a total of 23 tests yesterday over both cycles  I'm surprised that she doesn't run away from me when I approach her. I'm also glad I've already got more strips and lancets on the way.

Glad Ivana is doing well. Use this bounce as a chance to get some rest, even if it's just mental rest. ;) You did fantastic last night as well as Darryn. I hope the reducie sticks for her! Fingers and kitty toes crossed :)

Hi Tara! What a dance you and Ivana had yesterday! Oh it's SO irritating when you can't get them up. KT would soar within a few minutes but it's like prying a rock out of the mud to bring Dakota up. Glad everything was OK but I didn't doubt it for a second.

HUGS!!!! Great Dance! I score that one a solid 10!

I think 23 pokes might be a new record! Vyktor held the record with 19 a few years back but Ivana has smashed it :D

+6 and she is 340 / 18.9. Such a change from yesterday! I will leave her alone til PMPS I think, so I don't bleed her dry after yesterday's efforts. She doesn't need monitoring this afternoon anyway, judging from the numbers so far.

We normally do a +2 after every shot, but we've really eased back on the tests today after yesterday's marathon. Hubby was saying that Ivana was not particularly co-operative at the PMPS test, so given her numbers today he opted to skip the PM +2 and we'll just get a before-bed test.
