The boys should go out partying more often - lovely flat green cycles last night and almost identical AM pre-shots this morning. Very, very happy with both of their numbers! :D:cool::D

...and I hope that they can pull off another flat cycle today. I have to give an exam this morning and have to leave the house by +1. I should hopefully be back by +4.5... not bad, but after being home so much, 3.5 hours sounds pretty scary.

Unfortunately, no improvement for Iris. I am about to call the vet to see what else we can try. There's so much discharge from her nose, she is doing some open-mouth breathing again.

It's so exciting to see Mandarin's sudden mystery change...you have to be thrilled. Having Walter follow his lead is a double bonus! Poor little Iris...you'd think there was something that could help besides next to impossible nose drops. Be good little boys and stay on the surf board for mama bean today.

Way to work the juice boys! Surf it safely today!
Poor wee Iris; hopefully the vet has some ideas.
Have a good day Christina.

Nice surfing for the boys. I hope they surf safely today. Poor Iris. Is she old enought to try a 1/4 tablet of 10mg Zyrtec? Sending prayers.

Rotten cat!!!I knew I didn't have a good feeling when I had to leave to give my exam, and, sure enough, Walt decided that that would be a nice moment to drop into the 30s.:eek::eek: Luckily, he came back up pretty easily with some honey and gravy... but we'll see where he'll be at in 30 minutes without getting any more food.

After one helping of HC food, Walter has been staying away from the sharks. I jut fed him another LC snack at +9 and hope that he will give me a shootable number tonight.

I also talked to Iris's vet. We are trying vaporizer treatments with Albuterol again and if she is not better by Friday, I will bring her in for an appointment. I also managed to get some of the nose drops into her... it wasn't pretty, but I think they ended up in her nose. And I am happy to report that they don't burn as badly on open wounds as you would think.

Alright, back to grading. My Research Methods class is done and I just submitted my final grades. :woot::woot: It felt really good to hit that submit button. On to the second class....

Wow Christina - I'm definitely coming over to breathe in that air over at your place
If Iris has a discharge, what's the thinking of how albuterol would help? I'm trying to understand what they think is going on with her

Holy cow Walter! So glad you were able to be home to catch that and that he came up nicely for you. Exciting though that both boys are working the juice.

I am so sorry to hear about Iris and hope that a cure will be in sight soon. What does the vet think is going on?

Looks like Walter took a page from Mandarin's playbook! Come on, guys! Your mamabean needs you to have nice, flat, not-too-low cycles.
I hope the treatment will help Iris. Rusty has chronic congestion and is a good sneezer (sometimes 15 times in a row) of yellow snot. Then he licks it off his face and eats it. That's our boy!

She definitely has a URI - it's nasty looking green discharge and lots of it. She's been on ABs since Friday, but I don't think they've made a huge difference. Her nose is congested and she's struggling to breathe. Albuterol had helped her breathing in the past... and the warm steam can't hurt either. But, basically, my vet was out of the office today and I am getting my furnace serviced tomorrow right after my volunteer shift, so I won't be able to take her for an exam until Friday and this was worth a shot.

...and I'm Really hoping for no dives tonight - I'm exhausted. Looks like Walt is bouncing and Mandarin is starting out pretty flat.

Murphy does the same thing - yuck
I always rush with a kleenex to try to get it before he eats it, but usually he is too fast

Looks like Mandarin will be OTJ soon (anti jinx)
