Well, the first day on insulin, and getting his BG checked multiple times seemed to go tremendously well! Yay! Ben is such a great kitty! He tolerates everything so well - he is already on so many medications that we have to pill him twice daily. Tough boy! He's been sitting in my lap and purring while I check his BGs

I'm running nervously low on my ReliOn strips, so I am anxiously awaiting the shipment of Arkray strips from ADW. I ended up ordering 50 Relion Micro strips from Walmart (they only have 50 packs available online), and they should be ready for pickup tomorrow - just in case.

Sending vines to all in need, and hoping Ben continues to stay safe (longterm, but at least until I have more strips!)

Right?! I thought it was wishful thinking to check, but they popped up available! Probably won’t last long!

Aww thank you! He looks really good for 17.5! My girlfriend adopted him when someone brought him into the vet we work for in a PILLOW CASE, and said they "couldn't keep him"
