Good late evening,

Rusty had a good day today. He ate well, he enjoyed sitting on the radiator in the sunshine, he had a 10-minute steam session, he wasn't too upset when we went to the mountain club's Xmas potluck, and--best of all--this evening he had enormous energy and galloped up the stairs the way he used to when he was younger (first time in months)!
This morning I took his dose back up a smidgen to 0.10U (0.14mm on the digital calipers, Monoject syringe). I didn't have time today to work with the new BD syringes. Will try tomorrow.

The lowest official temperature in the USA this morning was 19 degrees below zero. Guess where? Right here in Saranac Lake NY! (at our house it was only -9 however).

Hope all is well in L&LL.

Hi Ella :coffee::coffee::coffee:

-19?????? Seriously???? Even your -9 is way too cold! o_O:eek: I do hope things warm up some... just a little! We are in the low to mi 40's, with a cold spell due right after Christmas. Still no snow. I think maybe I'm glad. It seems to want to stay up in the mountains.

WOW on the Rusty report. It is so nice when we see them do things they used to do "way back when...' GOOOOOOO Rusty! Good luck too with the new syringes. I hope that works well. As I remember I used to use them, when Mannie was first Dx'd. I have no clue why I switched.... inconsistent line marking, maybe? Way back when before the word calipers even made it to the Board. ;) Anyways, hope it works out well for you. Rusty you surf well, 'K?

I hope all is well with you and Edward. We are all doing OK here, awaiting Christmas day, and Nicholas's 7th birthday. I think I'm ready.... presents wrapped, tree is up, Lola has left that along (SHOCK!) :eek::rolleyes:, Events holiday all attended... Now all I need to do is plan Christmas brunch and dinner. :nailbiting::eek::eek::eek::) I hope you have a wonderful Christmas. Travel safe if you are on the move. ENJOY!

Michelle, I can imagine how busy a time this is for you. But you will have such fun. We'll be traveling, as usual, to a family Christmas where my sister lives, near Syracuse NY. We have to go through the "snow belt" to get there, so are watching the weather reports. Lots of parties here, too. We're celebrating the Winter Solstice on Thursday. I don't think anyone will go swimming or paddling.
Have a wonderful Christmas, and Happy 7th birthday to Nicholas. I hope that Santa will bring both boys some nice presents, and that Santa Paws will bring the kitties some treats.

Enjoy the Holidays!
