The bounces can be frustrating, but overall, Yoyo is doing very well. I do hope he clears this latest bounce quickly.:bighug:

Yoyo is being a bouncy boy. I hope he comes back down and surfs today. Don't let the bounces frustrate you. They are part of the process. :bighug:

Seeing PINK is Yukky!!!
Man, I know that feeling!
Keep following Carla's advice: Zoom out on the spreadsheet and focus on the overall picture. In the course of a month, he has gone from mainly pinks with a few blues to mainly blues with a few pinks and even had a reduction in the middle of it all. That is amazing progress!
He'll get there. :cool::D

I just wrote Carla that he is like a rubber ball! From 351 he came down to 134...I never know what that Alphatrak2 meter is going to read out!

Yoyo really knows how to clear a bounce in the most dramatic way, doesn't he. Hope he chills out with that trampoline, though.

When you have the time, can you please tell me what name brand syringe you are using for Bailey. I have purchased BD which has clean lines but I found numerous syringes where the stopper goes way past the zero line marker. I purchased Ulti-care and Sure Comfort. They both have terrible messy lines that are crooked, thick and worn. Lines are terrible! And the stopper doesn't even make it to the zero line. I don't think Yoyo will get a half unit, he will get less. Something is wrong with all these syringes! Please advise as to which syringe that you use. Thank you!

Hi Carla,
When you have the time, can you please let me know which syringes you are using for Furball. I have been using BD which has clean lines but so many of the syringes' stoppers go way past the zero line. I have purchased Ulti-care and Sure comfort(think thats the name) and they both have terrible sloppy lines and worn thick lines. Very hard to read the lines. And some of those syringes, the stopper/ringer doesn't even get up to the zero line. So either some syringes like BD go over the zero line or the other syringes don't ever reach the zero line. @Rosie & Bailey said that you were doing some research with syringes. Please let me know if you have any advise.
Hope you had a good day!

I don't know if there is a good brand of syringes out there that has consistent lines. Most people have found out the lines on syringes are off. That is why a lot of people use calipers to measure the dose to make sure you get a consistent dose. You ignore the lines when you measure with calipers. Here is the link to information on calipers: http://www.felinediabetes.com/FDMB/threads/dosing-with-calipers-updated-w-videos.79851/

Right now I am testing some syringes from Walgreens someone sent me. The lines aren't too bad, but I have found a couple of crooked syringes. The syringes themselves were crooked, not the lines. In the past I used the Relions from Wal-mart and don't remember them being too bad. I've used the SureComfort and CarePoint but had problems with air in the syringes with both of those. I've heard Monojects are good syringes, but I've never used them. Sorry if that is not more helpful.
