Yellow. But I have a feeling he is going back up. At least thats what pattern says.

Hi Cass,
never heard of any but i remember well to steer clear from steroids - if possible.
I would stay very far away from option 1. Why would that work? I guess if it were for a life or death emergency it's one thing, but why would that work?

A big NO on the steroids. For one thing, the rate at which they are absorbed and impact the blood sugar is not so predictable.
Yeah, I wasn't leaning towards this... it was just such a strange suggestion to me.

Just curious what the cost is on the special paste. Add karo to HC and you have added calories and protein. And probably cheaper.
I am going to ask next time I am there. It may be good to have on hand for when my civvie has her weird stomach problems.
The second one, is it nutri-cal or something like that? It should work, because the first ingredient is corn syrup (Karo is corn syrup) but it has a lot of other supplements they may or may not need and I doubt the quality is that great. One of the vets recommended it to me too.
Yeah! I think nutri-cal is it!

Thanks everyone for your feedback. Knowledge is always appreciated :bighug:

+1=286

Bounce confirmed :bighug: the bouncing is a bummer because I feel like dose is a good one.

(I also need to reevaluate my caliper measurements... this 3.3mm is suppose to be 2.75, but ir hits 2.5 on the syringes. Its weird. Whatever it truly is, its working LOL)

If the lines on the sryinges are off, that can happen. Just ignore the lines on the syringes and go by the calipers and you'll get a consistent dose. Some zero lines are not at the bottom of the syringe.

Its arouns 2.5 on all the syringes I used. Its weird.

Yikes! Steroids???? They can throw a cat into transient diabetes so why give one to a cat with diabetes???

Yes, ignore the lines on the syringe and go by the caliper calucations. For instance, today I was giving Bubba a .70 dose and it looked like on the syringe that it was 1 unit. Some syringes can be up to .50 unit off

+3.5=145

I wanna go to sleep... but my parents are here and my dad has the TV up so loud that theres no way i could drown it out. Its ridiculous.

It's looking like a nice cycle....... I'd be tempted to get up at +6 and see how low he went. But, then I don't have to go to a real job and function on all 6 cylinders. ( my husband thinks I only have 4 cylinders)

Lmao. I was gonna try for a +5 and if needed a +7. I am hoping he'll be good. This dose (whatever it really is) seems to be good for him, just got to get him to stop bouncing. :banghead:
