Good morning friends and thank you thank you thank you❤️

We all made it through the night, and with Sootie breathing a little less labored this morning. She was at top of the stairs observing my slow ascent with fud.
Am Bg high but wasn't sure if she'd eaten during night or vomited (no notes from night owl DH). Was super about fluids and antibiotic injection, ate a bit more, receded but allowed herself to be found.

Azalea sweet doobie this morning too. Appy good, patient with eye drops and digging pandora radio again.
(@Gussie's mom: Gussie, andres Segovia the musical mood for today)

Would have started today's condo sooner...was on phone for long time with homeopathic vet, coming up with a remedy plan for Sootie.
He also does acupuncture (bo loved it, azalea needle resistant) so soon as we know a little more will approach trying acupuncture.

Got to head out to work in a few minutes but wanted to say hi thanks and update before more of the day goes by.

Hugs hearts vines and prayers and thanks for all and to all for a glorious caturday,
❤️❤️Sina Sootie Azalea and tribe

I'm glad Sootie's breathing is a little better this morning. I hope it continues to improve and the homeopathic vet has something that will help her. Nice report for Azalea this morning. I hope you got some rest last night. Sending prayers. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Nice report from your tribe this morning Sina..:bighug::bighug::bighug:
sorry about the late reply, been out dealing with trees the wind downed last nite in the complex..we had 60 mph gusts going thru here! Did some damage

I'm so happy to read that Sootie seemed a bit better this morning. I hope there is no hidden vomit anywhere and all fuds consumed stay down.

Yay, Azalea! Keep being a good sport about your meds and eating your fuds. I think you know Mama's trying to help you feel better, don't you, smart cat?

We had high winds yesterday, too @Gussie's mom. The palm trees that line the entrances to our subdivision shed all kinds of debris. I just hope no one's car was in the wrong place at the wrong time!

Glad you all are safe and with no damage to your homes after the windstorms even if some trees are no longer upright. A big whew when no injuries, and no downed power lines or tree limbs coming through windows or roofs....

@carfurby @Gussie's mom @Tricia Cinco(GA) & Harvey @jayla-n-Drevon and fellow LL beans and in thanking for hanging in with us.❤️

@Tricia Cinco(GA) & Harvey: thanks for your suggestion about steam treatments for breathing! I did find the other baby steam misting unit and cleaning that out first. Though we don't have showers (tubs with Hand held shower attachments), can get enough hot water to steam up bathroom. I agree warm steam likely more beneficial that what comes out of air moisturizing machine. So will try your idea first. Thank you!

When home from work realized Sootie hadn't eaten snack but she clearly had been napping and was comfortably alert on bed (and relaxed). A little wheezy about the same as this morning which was an improvement over yesterday. Unfortunately her Bg was 214, and debated whether this night's cycle, after seeing how she did with supper and retest, would be the time to resume dosing, daring to think droplet dose.
Sootie ate, in upright mode, about 2 tsps worth and within a couple minutes vomited it and more up, repeating vomits 3 more times, including on the floor. Pukus starting out as food barf, then included froth then entirely froth. Oh dear.
She's now on bedding by radiator. Will give her time to recoup. And will try assist feed with syringe.

Maybe mix in a dose of the Pepcid AC with new food?

It will soon be time for fluids and antibiotic injection, too.

Love hugs heart from us all,
Sina

More good vibes from us Sina
I have used Pepcid with Rico 1/4 tablet and it did help him he slept very sound and comfortable. But Rico has a heart issue and it made his heart race other than that it did help him. I am hesitant to suggest anything because I don't want to make anything worse. 1 thing I would consider is baby food gerbers stage 2 meat only. It is easy to digest.
Big big hugs n prayers. :bighug:

Thanks Jayla and Tricia
Just did nighttime fluids and a/b injection. Not interested in fud (this time baby fud) after earlier pukus bout. Going to try syringing again. Held off on adding Pepcid to fud.

Given what happened yesterday when did the Pepcid (immediately barfed it up) on what clearly was empty stomach, leery of repeating same tonight.

I'm kinda off kilter tonight, opting to do fluids before retesting Bg, in hopes of getting fud in her. Am grateful that at least she had a better night last night and this morning. Her breathing continues to sound a bit better tonight, despite the vomiting.

Though wrestling with multiple conditions isn't new to any of us, I am very concerned about her Bg and this juggle and whether not even droplet dosing is not to her benefit. All things considered, I keep feeling that while her numbers aren't as awful as they could be under the circumstances but it's got to be not so gentle on her system.
And crossing paws, no glucose or ketones in urine. Going cycle by cycle, have chosen under the circumstances to be on safe side and not to dose or risk hypos (or low #s with symptoms) bc of vomiting, appy and the probable underlying causes.

thank you dear friends all.

I hope you were able to get some fud in her, and that it stayed down. Such a delicate balance you are trying to achieve - I don't know how you are keeping your composure!

Sending loads more appy vines and good tummy vines, and also prayers and :bighug:s.
