Good Morning, Everyone,

Another late start today. Rusty wanted to schmooze and we fell asleep. Edward, in the meantime, began preparations for baking his Hungarian potato bread. We are having our traditional New Year's Eve party here tomorrow night. In the past few years Linda (Bear Man) would be arriving today to spend New Year's with us. But this year she will be having a wonderful time with her family on a Caribbean cruise. It will be very cold here tomorrow night (last night it got down to 3 degrees F.), so she'll be happy to miss this weather!:) (wow, I just discovered all the new smileys that have been added. Neat!) But Rusty will miss seeing his Auntie Linda (as will we).

Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans with his head on his little green pillow. He ate all his nighttime food and this morning has eaten the "first sitting" of breakfast. We've had our combing, and now he is sitting on the radiator, keeping an eye on the yard (lots of deer tracks there).

Much to do today to get ready for tomorrow night. Wishing you all a good day and sending healing vines to all in need.

YAY for more smilies. Funny how we get so excited about such a simple thing. I like too how we can do post a photo that is "normal" size, and not thumbnail. YAY!

It is hard for me to think that tomorrow is New Year's Eve.... where has this year gone!? Enjoy your festivities tomorrow. it will be rather mellow here. ;) How exciting for Linda - a cruise! and to the Caribbean! Sure beats the cold of home.

Rusty - you surf well today, maybe off to the lagoon? Stay warm, 'K? It is cold here too, we are at 25. Lola and Elsa and Bug want to know if they can come and camp out on your radiators. They are tired of cold paws....

I will miss seeing all of you :( and enjoying the New Year's festivities with you, but you are right … I'm not sad about missing out on the cold weather! I hope you all have a wonderful celebration. I know that Rusty will be the perfect host, as always.
 
Hey, Rusty, that +4 is pretty close. I say close enough! Besides, when it's as cold as it is at your house, the lagoon might be a little frigid for even tough boy toes so hanging on the edge is understandable.

Your holiday sounds wonderful, Ella. Cozy, comfortable. Great way to begin a new year. Enjoy.

Yup, the LagoonMeister is on duty tonight. Going downstairs now to watch TV with him and "serve" him his dinner (which is set out, but he waits for us to sit with him while he eats:D!
 
Rusty's looking smashing in his green outfit tonight! :D My civie also hangs around waiting for us to sit in front of the TV. He's so disappointed if we don't.

Enjoy the party tomorrow. I don't even have a tracking number for the Concept 2, so not sure it's even shipped yet. Maybe they closed for the holidays? The web site says 1-8 business days for shipping and I expect it'll take the maximum time.
 
Hello Rusty I would love to come and visit at your lagoon. You can show me around and maybe I will like it so much I might stay! Probably it won't be tonight though - I was naughty at AM +9 and ate some of my civvie sisters dry food - all warm and regurgitated - it was good stuff but I got in trouble and I heard my big sister Serryn telling my mumbean that I won't be able to go to the lagoon if I do things like that. I think that means I'm grounded :rolleyes:
