Thanks @Bobbie And Bubba! I think you are right, I am shooting .1u now. Will change the SS to reflect that.

Here is a pictorial guide for the .25 units one for .1 It sounds like you were closer to the .1 unit dose. When I was giving that tiny of a dose, I would check the zero line on my syringes to make sure they were in the right place otherwise you could be giving too much or too little of a dose. Those dang syringes aren't always marked accurately.

Micro dosing can be tricky. What I was counseled here is that in these low doses, consistency is the key. So whatever your micro dose is in your syringe, try to keep it as consistent as possible across shots. Do you use calipers at all? They really helped me to stay consistent.
Uncle is doing so great!!:bighug::bighug:

When I switched over to the BD's from the needles the vet sent me home with at dx (can't remember what brand) I noticed that the BD plunger stopped PAST the zero line unlike the other brand did. May be administering more insulin than the above photos. Not sure.
I guess it doesn't matter as long as I stick with the BD's and my reductions or increases (hope not) are relative to each other.
Just checked Unc's +2 he's at 161, so he's come back nicely from the "vacation" dose. Looks better too.

Yes that's the best strategy to stay consistent. You are moving down the ladder in consistent increments and that's how you want to go!
Nice bounce back from vacation! Great to hear! I had a pretty strong feeling he would!:):cat::bighug:
I had two trips in the early days with Gus but he tended to recover pretty quickly I found. I figured given how quickly Uncle recovers from his bounces that he would too!:bighug::bighug:
Happy he is doing so well:cat::cat::cat:

He's looking good and agree that what matters is you are consistent. I've never shot those doses except for with R. Heck, I know my doses vary because of those darn bubbles! Keep surfing Uncle.

Thank you Karen. Yes, the bubbles can be an x-factor! Uncle parachuted back to the lagoon today. Just fed him some bumped up LC and will test again at +6
