I am not liking these numbers one bit. I guess Walter technically made it back below 100 three hours after he ate, but it is barely green. And he was above 120 this morning.

I have always set an alarm at 3 am (+7) to feed everyone a snack and that seems to have worked just fine when he was still getting a drop of Insulin. Last night, I got up at 4 am instead (+8), but that didn't bring his AMBG down either.

Since he looked a lot better on 1 drop of Insulin, do you think I should just start him back up on that? Or should I give him more time without Insulin?

I'd think about giving Walter a little more time. The AMPS numbers can be the hardest to fall into line and everything else is green. You might experiment during the day to see if you give Walter a small amount of food, how long it takes for his numbers to respond. Remember, every cat is different. Walter may need more or less time to respond to a snack.

So, in other words, feed him his regular AM meal and then test at +1, +2, +3, and +4 to see where his numbers are at?

Go Mandarin! Nice timing for you to be home to check in on the +3 or +4 after a blue start. When Bubba was OTJ trial, I usually didn't get another test after a blue start until +4 as he was that carb sensitive.
