:eek: BIGGER bubble than usual so we shall see what Max does with this today. As the year comes to an end I'd like to thank EVERYONE who has helped Max and I over the past year. He wouldn't be tightly regulated without you. Special thanks to Julie, Marje, and Wendy for all their wonderful advice and support. Special thanks to all those who helped me get through the first few pj parties (Mariko, Amy, Tricia, and many who luckily are now OTJ). I have made so many new friends here and the support is so appreciated. However you ring out the old and ring in the new please all of you be safe. I'll be around to help as I'll be celebrating my mother's 94th birthday and new year's tomorrow and unless I go visit my friends close enough to walk to will be home tonight.
Prayers and vines to all kitties and beans in need with extra for Amy's DF and Tricia's kitties. I hope lots more of us experience the joy of going OTJ. I won't jinx it but someone I am watching I thing has a really good chance for that soon!!!

Nice blue cycle so far today!

Max sure is looking better lately! Maybe the new year will bring both of us luck in keeping our kitties tightly regulated....or even better, OTJ! I know it's not likely with China, but I'll never give up hope!

I hope your mom is feeling up to celebrating her birthday. Getting to celebrate with our loved ones who reach their 90's is something pretty special. :)

Eddie and Max often times to seem to parallel each other in this dance. You've done an amazing job with him. Elise you should be so proud of how much you've done to help Max. He's probably one of the most well regulated kitties in L&L at the moment, and that's really, really impressive. Just think of where he was 6 months ago, compared to now. Have a great New Years, and my best wishes to you and Max for 2015.
 
I think Max will be joining China tonight as he doesn't seem to have any other plans that I know of yet.

He did barely enter the lagoon now.:D
 
Thanks Jen. I'm hoping in 2015 he will be able to need less insulin but if he needs it and can stay in blue and green numbers I will do my best to be satisfied. We have come a long way and so have you!

I see you figured out how to get the "Old" icons!!....It's nice to have the familiar ones! I'm looking forward to what kinds of ones they'll come up with for the new board too :D

We can't get them into the subject line that I know of. I've tried several different things and they don't work.

I'm hoping as they continue to work on the software that they figure a way out to do some in the Subject line since the 911 and candle/rainbow are important ones to watch for

Elise, what you've done for Max has been enormously inspirational. You know him so well, even if he is Mr. Unpredictable. Sending all my wishes for a fantastic New Year for you and you boy. And bushels of vines, light, prayers for your mom. 94!

Thank you Marje. Max has surprised me with a 35! So reducie for the new year. He's acting fine. In fact just used his box. I double checked because I doubted it! How much do I reduce? The usual from 2.3 to 2.2 or ????
 
Max is doing so well because you've worked like a devoted mom to take care of him!

I think I'd stick with your regular reductions. It's been working for him.

Happy new year and happy birthday to your mom! Yesterday would've been my mom's 89th birthday. You're so lucky to still have your mom although I know what a rough year she's had. She's lucky to have you!!!
 
Thank you Julie. Happy new year and thank you for all your help over the past year. It still amazes me how normal they can act and he does with BG this low. He was happy to get the high carbs!:D

This is crazy. He got karo and hc but jumped from 35 to 110 in 45 minutes. Is that even possible.?
 
I am questioning the 35 but I got 33 with the other meter. I got 105 and 110 with the two meters last test. It's just such a big jump. Maybe he will come down a bit with the next test.

Also looks like that 35 was about right - congrats on the reduction :D
