Good morning,

Leo’s been at the beach since pmps yesterday, not sure what he’s up to (probably in a lounge chair doing a sloth imitation ) so I’m just keeping my eye on him.

There were 17 doves eating on the deck 3 feet from the windows earlier this morning,
Leo was in his glory!! :joyful:

I bought two large rubber boot trays and put bird seed and peanuts in them. The trays keep the seed somewhat contained and it’s easy to keep moving them up as the snow accumulates on the deck.

Have a great day everyone! Hope your kitties are safely and happily surfing! :bighug:

I agree with Beth! what a great idea about the boot tray, it really seems like you have a little wildlife reserve in your yard lately, so nice for Leo to keep his interest!

I saw the pic of Leo for the calendar! I love his fluffy fur and handsome face :D

I hope Leo boogies his little butt to the beach before the unmentionable is mentioned ;)

I never heard of a boot tray:blackeye: Always learning something:joyful:
You paint such a pretty picture Sonia - Leo is resting a bit from all the green pressure;)
I imagine you'll have a great day!

I can just imagine Leo looking at all that 'fresh feathered fun' on the deck! His eyes must have been as big as saucers!

So nice that you have a provision for feeding the birds too :)

Enjoy!

It’s a big rubber tray that you'd put in your entrance way closet or any other entrance from outside.
You put your boots full of snow on it when you come in from outside and the snow melts into the rubber tray. It work great as a bird feeder too! :joyful::joyful::joyful:
I guess that shows that I don't live where it snows enough for boot trays! Thank you Sonia;) In my part of Texas, we might witness a bit of snow every other year or so:woot:
