Bonsoir tout d'abord je voulais m'excuser d'avance si je n'ai pas donné de nouvelles de Caramel ces derniers temps , en effet j''ai eu des petits soucis personnel et le courage pour venir écrire ici n'etais pas avec moi j'en suis désolée d'avance

Alors j'ai en effet depuis changer les doses d'insuline lantus à Caramel j'ai fait 7 cycles à 4.25 qui pour ma part n'ont pas donner beaucoup d'évolution je n'ai pas pu faire une courbe entière sur la journée malheureusement et j'ai donc changer de moi même pour 4.50 sur les conseils de Stéphanie qui n'est pas Ok pour avoir augmenter a 4.50 sans avoir faire de courbe au préalable et par manque de prise de glycémie à +2 ou +3 elle me demande de repasser a 4.25 je voulais savoir ce que vous en pensez ? ( Steph ne t'inquiète pas je ne te blame pas je demande juste un avis ) car ça m'embete clairement de redescendre sachant que je suis à 2 jours à 4.50 et que j'ai pu mesurer 1 fois un +2 aujourd hui à 308 .... je suis un peu perdue en ce moment un coup Caramel va dans le jaune et le plus souvent il reste haut , son comportement reste correct et les scelles sont beaucoup mieux avec la nouvelle Nourriture , que me conseillez vous sachant que je ne sais pas quand je pourrais faire de courbe sur la journée .... pour moi je n'ai pas augmenté de beaucoup et je n'ai vu à aucun moment mon pauvre chat dans le bleu depuis ....

Ah oui et j'oublier de preciser que hier je me suis reveiller avec une heure de retard à 9H26 j'ai tester caramel qui etait à 289 et dans la foulée à 9H27 il etait à 322 donc j'ai pas bien compris pourquoi cette difference , j'ai retester à 16H04 il etait à 457 et à 16H06 il était à 463 bon la beaucoup moins de différence mais il y a des ecart en même pas quelques minutes

The 289 and 322 are very similar numbers. Human glucose meter can vary up to 20%, so if the "real" number was 300, a meter could give you anything between 240-360. It is good to retest when you get a strange number, just in case the strip was bad, but I don't think that is what happened here.

I think the increase to 4.5 was a good idea. You do not have a curve, but I think there are enough tests between injections to judge that the 4.25 dose was not bringing the numbers down enough. I hope that 4.5 is a better dose!

Les numéros 289 et 322 sont très similaires. Le glucomètre humain peut varier jusqu'à 20%, donc si le "vrai" nombre était de 300, un mètre pourrait vous donner n'importe quoi entre 240-360. Il est bon de retester quand vous obtenez un nombre étrange, juste au cas où la bande était mauvaise, mais je ne pense pas que ce soit ce qui s'est passé ici.

Je pense que l'augmentation à 4,5 était une bonne idée. Vous n'avez pas de courbe, mais je pense qu'il y a assez de tests entre les injections pour juger que la dose de 4,25 n'entraînait pas assez de chiffres. J'espère que 4.5 est une meilleure dose!

 

@Mel & Caramel un grand bravo d'avoir trouvé le courage de poster ici! Tu vois, c'est bien d'avoir plusieurs avis. Moi j'ai tendance à avoir peur de donner trop d'insuline, comme tu as remarqué. Et il y a des personnes ici qui ont plus d'expérience et un autre regard que moi. N'hésite pas à me demander si tu trouves qu'une traduction n'est pas claire.

Et super que tu aies le projet de faire une courbe, ce sera bien d'avoir cette information!

@Mel & Caramel la prochaine fois que tu envisages d'augmenter la dose et que tu postes ici, ça peut valoir la peine de prendre l'avis de @Wendy&Neko -- on arrive gentiment en territoire "haute dose" pour Caramel et elle connaît bien ce genre de terrain.

Oui mais la je commence clairement à desesperer car mon chat reste toujours haut et j'ai bien peur que ces reins trinque à force , je pense que je vais finir par changer d'insuline car je ne vois aucun résultat probant ... et faut pas oublier que caramel reviens de loin on l'a monter jusqu'a 8ui ...
