Asia continues to be happy and her usual self, yay! She cleaned her a face a couple of times last night. I realized I forgot her Cerenia shot yesterday somehow, I must have been distracted when the alarm went off. She's still eating well, so yay for that. Maybe I can get away with every other day cerenia.

A couple more rounds of Karo last night, but nothing like the sugar binge that was yesterday's cycle. I think the temporary increase did the trick and hopefully 1.25 will work again, if it doesn't, I will try for something in between the 2. Seems like she did a bit of surfing overnight, +8 was 119 and I woke up to a 127! :woot:

Toki is on to me now. I tried a pill pocket, zero interest in eating that. Tried another Toki truffle, she quickly discovered the pill (whole this time) spit that part out and ate around it :rolleyes: had to pill her again. 4 more days, 8 more pills.
 
I love the gentle surfing that is happening, but don't like these creeping preshots. This 1.25/1.5 waffle dose is getting old. I'm trying an in between dose as I've mentioned in a previous condo. This measures exactly inbetween the two doses on my calipers at 2.062 mm. I shall call it a fat 1.25 on my SS...or is it a skinny 1.5? :joyful:

Asia ate her zeniquin Toki truffle again! Score! Such a relief. Vet called and asked how she was doing and I told her how it was not so good for awhile there but fantastic as of recently. She said to come back in for more abx and we will continue on to 4 weeks and then do more bloodwork at that point and see if it's helping and continue on to 6 weeks, or not.

Toki also ate her Toki truffle tonight! Guess it's just a crap shoot if she happens to bite in to the pill or not. I'm glad her love of cheese is stronger than her suspicion of eating possibly tainted food! :joyful: o_O She definitely would not survive in the wild, for so many reasons, this is just another one to add to the list. :rolleyes:
 
Hi Stacy! Glad to hear that Asia is feeling better. I like Judy's idea of giving her a truffle without the pill and maybe she won't be suspicious next time and will chow down. Okay, so what is the truffle?

That's what I've been doing. I make 2 blanks and one with a pill hidden in it. The truffle is smushing some kraft American cheese food slice into a ball, hiding the pill in it, and rolling the ball in parm cheese. She loves them and seems to have short term memory about the pill, but if she bites in to the pill by accident, game over for that round. Asia can't really chew because she barely has any teeth, so she just swallows them whole. :joyful:

Oh, a savory truffle! That sounds like something I would enjoy eating sans the pill.
