We're still plugging along!!

Trying an experiment just to see what happens...Moving China's shot from the scruff/shoulder to her side to see if there's any difference.

With that fast plunge this morning, makes me wonder!!....but we'll just have to wait and see!!

Not real happy with the Pre-shots, but at least she's still patrolling the lagoon in between

I just did the same thing last night, from shoulders to scruff and he popped a 55 @ +3.25  Thinking we are getting some better absorption since I always have shot the shoulders. It will be interesting to see how it pans out over time.

Yeah, I'm interested to see what happens....After shooting almost 5 years in the scruff/shoulder area, we're trying the "side of belly" (although she's not quite sure she's all that excited about it)

That is an interesting experiment, and I have seen the topic debated on this forum a few times.
I wonder if China will continue to have a quick onset with the flank shot. We will see!

Until recently, I was exclusively shooting Moose in the scruff because that it how my vet taught me, and I really had no clue that you could shoot anywhere else. Now I shoot only in the flank (switching sides.)

I read somewhere about inulin absorbation and some people said that scruff has the best absorbing. I was trying to find this descussion but no luck:mad::mad::mad::mad:

My vet told me the opposite with scruff injections which is why I was doing the shoulders. Now I'm alternating both sites to help with scar tissue

I've always shot in the right side of TiTi's belly/chest area. She's never once winced, so I think it's the best spot for her. Had no idea there is better absorption In the scruff. Maybe I should try it.

China's numbers are impressive, but, CHINA, STOP DIVING!

I thought i read the opposite at one point too .... which is why I use the side of belly usually. Hmmm... gives me something to ponder.
The scruff isn't necessarily better absorption. My vet says studies show it is not. I only changed to include it because scar tissue can interfere with absorption.
