Trix had lovely numbers during the day last day, and since I was home and able to give her a +9 snack, she had a wonderful PMBG of 101. Of course today we bounce...what can ya do? At least she escaped the yellow floor...barely, but blue is blue! And, of course, we have our crazy dive into the lagoon
.
We have our snuggles and happy appy (with Mannie Fuds Dance) and fairly easy meds. She spent some time in search of adventure this morning, too. Funny girl.
For the first time ever, this morning she swatted me and wriggled away when I tried to do her banana meds! I guess she is really tired o f those....just a few more days, Trix! I followed her to another room and was successful without a struggle, but at first, she was just like "No way...NOT hapenning!" Love her feistiness
.
Last night, she "snuggled" with DH on the loveseat. He had gotten up to do something or other, and she took "his spot". When he got back, he wedged himself in the corner next to her, and she stayed there, all curled up. That's something she usually doesn't do - if she approaches, that's one thing, but often if you sit close to her, she'll stay for a very short time and then leave. Not last night. Poor DH was as uncomfortable as could be, but he didn't move her. She finally jumped down when all the civvies were looking for fuds...it was snack time for everyone!
I took this picture of Trix and civvie Petey yesterday afternoon....both are a little annoyed that I disturbed their slumber with that pesky camera! They were looking so cute and cozy, though....I just had to.
Today is the day my parents jet off to Hawaii!! We had another round of black ice, but I haven't heard from them (they were supposed to leave very early this morning), so I'm assuming that their flight is still fairly close to being on time. Phew! Of course I'm a helicopter...they've done lots of travelling, but this is the first time since my Dad started chemo, so I'm a little nervous. I'm sure they'll be fine, though.
Gotta get myself in motion...back to work today (which is where I am as I'm posting this!) . Blech. Have a great day, L&LL!
