Morning all,:coffee::coffee::coffee::coffee:

Hugs and vines to those who need them, brewing some extra coffee as some of you have had long nights.

George continues to do well on this dose yesterday after a blue start he spent the whole day in Green.

Hope he continues to enjoy his time at the Lagoon, he seems to have been on best behaviour this week, wonder if he is trying to get into DH good books as he is home this week.:rolleyes:
He'll probably wait till it's just the two of us before he decides to go on a shark hunting expedition.

Can't complain all is well and we seem to be getting into a good routine.

I have been thinking about getting him in for a BW again now he is looking better on his BG. On his original BW in october he was out of range for some parameters, when I discussed it with vet she said this was normal as his BG was high. So was wanting to see if now things had improved in those parameters. I'm not sure what the implications of the out of range parameters are and would be very grateful if someone could walk me through them.
I have 'translated' the results and highlighted the out of range parameters and the original spanish version is also on a sheet on the ss.

Thanks

I would be curious to see where his BW is at now that his BG is looking so great. When Walter was first started on Lantus, quite a few things were off (Liver + Kidney values, his Thyroid...) and after a dental and a few months on Insulin, almost every single thing was back in normal range. And Walter was never even close to being as regulated as George is.

I'm not as proficient at interpreting blood work results as I would like to be, but I'll flag @Marje and Gracie .
She'd be my go to person for blood work. :)

George is looking good!

I think it's a good idea to get b/w on diabetics every 6 months, so you are getting close to that. A number of the lab values that George had out of range were also out of range with Neko when we started out. It's non uncommon for some liver values to be out - but Marje will know more. The BUN being high can be indicative of dehydration, another thing common to early diabetics.

Paws crossed George continues trying to impress DH. :D

Guess I'll post on tomorrow's condo regarding the liver values. We just got home...I'm sorry I missed you, Gill. Sleep tight.
