In the interest of avoiding Vyktor's blue words, I will not comment on Mikey's numbers today.

The loom is all warped, and I've begun the weaving. I'm so happy with how it's coming out. The main yarn is one my sister's mother in law gave her. There was only one large skein, but the price tag on it was $36, so I totally understand why! I'm weaving a scarf for my sister. I really need to get some pictures of it, because it's beyond gorgeous. Totally her! Never, ever would I have thought this yarn would look so good.

Now I want to hear about all the quilter's latest projects!

I've got one cat wall quilt and one double wedding ring, both waiting for me to get to them .

I would love to see the scarf and your set up too! My grandmother was a great knitter, crocheter and quilter- pretty good considering she could barely speak English! I knit and crochet a little bit, but mostly I enjoy shopping and collecting the pretty yarns. I do love to quilt! I recently found an old quilting magazine with a cat quilt featuring the late Laurel Burch material and another Laurel Burch theme Lady In Her Garden. I will spend the next year collecting the fabric and then I have to figure out how to copy the pattern- that will give me something to do next winter.
