DH surgery went perfectly yesterday. He was out and in his room by 10 a.m. and I'd come home after they took him in to monitor Luci - good thing the hospital is close by - because of course Miss Luci decided that it was THE day to head off to the lagoon for some surfing and teasing the sharks! I swear that cat knows exactly when things are stressful around this house and she has to pile on...so I was tied up with her for a few hours in the morning and then went back to the hospital...back and forth back and forth - by the evening I was worn to a frazzle...at least Luci didn't seem to be interested in going back to the lagoon - and I was too exhausted to stay up to monitor her...so set up the auto feeder to make sure she'd have snacks ...

Today DH is being released from the hospital and I acquire my second in-home patient (Luci being number uno of course)...so it's another day of at least one - possibly two trips to the hospital and back - we just have to do what we have to do, huh?

You must be kidding.... LOL! I'm trying to get some work done this afternoon...DH is comfortably settled...Luci is also comfortably settled...in the lagoon...surfing along at 90...this late in the day! Very unusual for her to surf this late...some day I'll figure her out...or not.
