We have all had one of those....hopefully she got something in her.

Did you smell anything on her fur?

That makes 5 consecutive days of negative ketone results! Fabulous!
Can you elaborate on the differences in how Bella is looking and acting today as opposed to say, 2 weeks ago?
yesterdays PM cycle was the perfect opportunity to see how the 15% carb food affects her BG.
The way to be sure is to test around 30 mins-1 hour after feeding the HC. Had you checked at +3 (1 hour after feeding HC) depending on the number, it may have been a good idea to feed another tsp HC . Likewise for the +5.

If I had a dollar for every fur shot I had...
housekeeping item- on the ss, when fur shots happen we replace the dose with FS.
After a furshot the cycle count starts over.

    I did feed 15% high carb food at +2 and + 5
And tested..not after the last check...
    went to bed exhausted.

Not sure if it actually WAS a fur shot.. she moved as I went to give it. I’m
going to leave it as is on the spreadsheet.

She was negative for ketones again this morning.

Bella is more active than two weeks ago. She’s back to following me around the house rather than sitting in a corner sleeping and only getting up to eat.
She was playing with a laser toy yesterday, not for long.. but she was really playing.
She was trying to make a nest in the back of closet. When I pick her up she feels like she has more tone in her muscles, with some weight gain. ( which she needed)

How long will she remain on this dosage of insulin?
It’s hard to know what to do sometimes... I ask questions but sometimes they aren’t answered.
    I know it’s a very busy forum.
