AMPS 101 shooting .75u
Well not quite green but a lot closer than yesterday's.
Boomer ate all of his overnight foods and slept off and on with me last night.

Weighing day for the kitties....Boomer is the same at 15.4 lbs, Allen is down to 13.0 lbs from 13.8 a week ago. Not sure whether this entire .8 could be attributed to the pooping?

Not much going on here today; I think we're supposed to get a bit of snow but meanwhile the mild temperatures yesterday and the rain got rid of most of the snow we had! It's supposed to be quite mild here on Saturday so I'm hoping Boomer gives us permission to get out for a while.

Nice start for Boomer. I hope he surfs in the lagoon for you today. If Allen had a lot of poop backed up, that could make a difference.

.8 oz is quite a bit but backed up poop could make up at least 1/2 that I would think. Much better start this morning Booms! Hope this next round of white stuff misses your area. Hate to tell you but we'll be in the 80's for the next few days before going back down in temps with rain before the weekend. When we get cool, rainy weather the east coast usually gets another round of ick the following week.

Yes I think it's a lot although he was really backed up. I've decided to determine how much he's eating each day and I don't have a kitchen scale to actually weigh his food so we'll have to go by volume.

It's a good thing that you're monitoring their weight. As long as his weight remains stable after today, I wouldn't worry about it and blame it on the poop.

Weight can vary. Do you weigh at the same time of day? That can make a difference, too.

I hope you get some sunshine to enjoy. The sun is out here this afternoon, after the big storm. But, unlike you, we are wishing for more snow to replenish what we lost!

Regarding the Fancy Feast, I don't think anyone does have current info. There were rumors that the formulas had changed on some of the flavors, but no definite word on that. Purina is next to impossible to get info from. I have tried numerous times. They just keep giving you the guaranteed analysis. After multiple fruitless phone calls, I tried writing a letter to company executives and just got a printout of the GA and coupons back!

Are you positive that they were the actual As-Fed or DM numbers? When they sent them to me, they said they were, but comparing them to the label I found they were actually the GA numbers.

I have gotten that response from several food manufacturers. I think, if I contact them again, I will tell them that my vet suggested I contact them for the info! Take that, RC!
