Day 22 @ 1.68 Units Lantus

Good Morning.....Yoyo had a little tummy upset, too much of the new food and too little of the old food which has too much fat percentage for him. I was giving Yoyo pumpkin which I thought would firm his stool but it did the opposite...I realize now that this was not the right thing for him, made his tummy more active. Hopefully - I will get it right soon so that his tummy feels better:)

Have a wonderful day and please - all Kitties surf safely:bighug::bighug:

The pumpkin is supposed to help both, constipation and diarrhea. It might be difficult to know if it were the new food at a higher % or the start of the pumpkin. Two new things at the same time can muddy the water. I’m guilty, been there , done that.

Try taking one of those things off the table and see how he responds and go from there.

Hope he feels better ASAP! :bighug:

How's the SEB working Debra? Is Yoyo feeling any better?
Yo has been getting SEB for months when he started making those weird face movements....vet prescribed cerenia but I gave him SEB instead. Works pretty well.
His tummy is upset from the new foods because I lessened his pate due to the high fat content in the Soulistic chicken canned pate food. So he is getting more Weruva which I whip up in the blender but I think all that chicken and gel broth is giving him loose stool. I can't win no matter what I do. If I give him what he likes and agrees with his tummy then the food is too high in fat(Soulistic chicken) and Fancy feast diet of pate's is too high in phosphorous.
But I am doing what I believe you suggested....a little of this and a little of that....mixing it all up:)...thanks for asking:bighug:

Thanks Bobbie....he is so use to Fancy feast...these new foods that are lower in phosphorous have a lot of broth/gel and CHICKEN, I think it is all too rich for his tummy. He was ok until I decreased the pate by Soulistic, but I did that because the fat content is too high for him. I cannot find a normal looking pate that fits all his criteria without all the gel....but I'm trying different combinations until I get it right. Tonight I have him a chicken/fish pate by Soulistic that has lower fat. I'm just not too happy giving him fish in his diet due to his high thyroid count. But I'm just giving a little.
Hope all is well with you, your family and of course Bubba.
Have a good night:bighug:
