Can I give him insulin if he doesn't eat?
It's been so long, I can't remember.

He hasn't eaten anything overnight. He is refusing to eat breakfast. His BGL is slowly climbing again. This is becoming regular for him.

Edit: I managed to get him to eat a small amount of raw chicken and gave him his insulin. I'll come home from work at lunch time to check on him.

Sorry no one got back to you. I'm glad you got him to eat something and were able to shoot. For future reference, it's generally not a good idea to shoot lower numbers if the cat isn't eating.

It's okay! It can be a hard thing and I got it sorted. Now I know for future.

175 is high for Grem which is why I wasn't sure. If it was closer to 120, I would have left it. But all good! Mind you, he's barely eaten this morning. And it's all food he loves and has been eating for a long time with no issues. He's just gone off his food. He didn't even eat that much chicken

He ate at lunch time and is currently scoffing down his dinner, yay! His BGL has lowered a bit again too so I'm happy.
