Was hoping that I'd begin to see Benny's numbers starting to trend down, but instead they seem to be creeping up. Though I didn't load his feeder last night because he had uneaten leftovers that I figured would tide him over because he hadn't seemed very hungry yesterday. So I won't do that again.
On the bright side, he slurped down his breakfast this morning and came back for seconds! Feeding has been a regular 3-ring circus around here. Benny gets meds mixed in his morning and evening feeds, and brother Shaddie has been ridiculously picky lately and hasn't been eating much, so he gets whatever he will eat, some of which is not low-carb. Of course their favorite thing is for each of them to check out what the other cat is eating to see if it's better than what they have . . .
I'm sure this is familiar to anyone trying to feed cats!
Happy Monday, all - I got an unexpected day off today, boss sent out an email late yesterday, telling us to take the day off in honor of daylight savings time, so I'll take it gladly! (Would have been nice to sleep in, but with a diabetic cat, that's not something I expect to be able to do maybe ever again.)
