This week beyond sucks.....tomorrow is a half day, THANK GOD....however, once again, had to bring work home with me....sigh....

At this point I am just ready to throw in the towel and wave the white flag....

I sure hope things settle down and get better soon...

Skooter is again meowing when he is in the LB in the morning, so I am gonna call to try and get him in so they can just check him over......
 
Awwwww Skooter, are you eating your pumpkins and getting some oil into you? Maybe you need a little more pumpkin?

Work sucks - I have to go back on Monday after 6 weeks off (my longest ever break) it's going to be awful :( and I haven't done the work I brought home with me either - oops
 
@Vyktors Mum He wouldn't eat the pumpkin or squash that I tried....I may try a different brand, we shall see....so when you give the oil, do you do that at meal time or just random? How much do you give and how often?
 
Did you mix the pumpkin/squash in with his food or just try and give it to him direct? Vyktor wouldn't eat it direct but accepted 1/4 tsp mixed in with food and now I'm giving up to a tsp in a meal.

I give the coconut oil randomly, he considers that one a treat - bonus! I'm giving between 1/4 and 2/3 tsp daily
 
I tried both, but I might have put too much in his food. Plus it was when he wasn't feeling well, so maybe it is worth trying it again.

He is getting the miralax twice a day, but maybe the coconut oil or pumpkin or squash would help more....I will try the coconut oil tomorrow and see how he does...
 
Molly, I put just 1/4 t pumpkin or less mixed in Max's food a few times a day. He won't eat it by itself.
 
We give Tillie 1/16 teaspoon in the morning and the evening, just for reference. Miralax is tasteless. Big hugs to you, Molly.

Also for reference, our civvie, Frankie, gets 1/8 tsp mirilax BID, too. I hope this weekend brings you a much-needed break...
 
He is on 1/4 tsp of miralax bid already....I think his poop may be sticky. ...he has been spreading a bit on pillows and on me when he is snuggling with me and it smells....I wonder if the coconut oil will help with that and with him being able to get it out in the morning....I will be bringing him back to the vet for a check up next week....off Monday for the funeral, Tuesday for St. Patrick's Day, and Wednesday for recovery.....I might actually go do somethimg I haven't been able to do for almost a year....painting ceramics! One of those days I think I might do that. With their hours and Skooter's shot schedule, it is almost impossible to get there...

We have a little green! Yippee.....brought my work home and just finished....forgot to eat dinner and now I am super hungry and no food here....ugh....
